It takes into consideration each and every aspect of supply chain, respecting people, animals and environment. In order to ensure the longevity of products enough time is dedicated to design process, which is why the approach is called slow.
Why GOTS Organic Cotton?
Organic cotton is grown without the use of synthetic fertilizers, pesticides and GMOs (Genetic Modified Organisms) according to the principles of organic agriculture. Organic cultivation is controlled by countries in which the cotton is grown. Everything that comes afterwards, from spinning to final trading is monitored by one of the certification bodies. In our case, the certification body is GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) which guarantees products carrying GOTS logos contain the credible assurance of organic origin of the product, as well as environmentally and socially responsible processing.”
