About brand
Something else is a slow fashion brand born from the desire to create clothes in which women
would feel comfy and pretty as they watch Netflix, stroll around the city or drink their favorite coffee with friends.
Our mission
We believe that we are all a part of the same puzzle and that only together we can change the world. Current fashion industry practices are one of the reasons our future doesn’t look bright. We believe that the brighter future comes when important decisions are made looking for the best solution for each aspect of the supply chain. This is the reason our mission is formed around the following values:
Care about the environment – We use only certified fabrics, which minimize the negative effects of the environment we all share.
Transparency – We value our customers and therefore communicate honesty about the origin of our fabrics, their prices, production and other costs.
Ethics – Current fashion practices are cost-cutting oriented and therefore often mean that the fabric is produced in one country, cut in another and assembled in yet another by extremely underpaid workers who are sometimes not even 15. Our clothes are cut and assembled in Croatia by seamstresses who determine their own cost of work.
Our clothes have no tags
You must be familiar with a little polyester booklet inside almost all of your garments, which you probably cut off as soon as you come home from shopping. Well, our clothes have none. Zero. All the information you need is printed inside, so there is no unnecessary trash, no scratching, no “What temperature should I wash this shirt at?” .
Sustainable packaging
We strive to make our packaging compostable so that, irregardless of the recycling practices of the country you come from, you can either reuse it or simply throw it into the compost bin.
Our fabrics are preshrunk
All our fabrics are washed and therefore preshrunk before cutting and sewing. Even though this increases the final price, it also ensures that the size of the garment won’t change after you give it its proper care.
