What is slow fashion? Slow fashion is an approach to production of clothes which values quality over quantity. It takes into consideration each and every aspect of supply chain, respecting people, animals and environment. In order to ensure the longevity of products enough time is dedicated to design process, which is why the approach is called slow. Milky Maxi dress is made of Tencel™ Lyocell
The reason behind our Milky long-sleeved maxi dress flowiness is the fabric. Tencel™ Lyocell is a sort of rayon which is derived from wood cellulose. Like with any other rayon type of fabric, the production starts with wood cellulose which is chemically turned into pulp. The pulp is further squeezed through tiny holes into a solution to derive a fibre. Tencel™ fibres, however, differ from regular rayon: wood is sustainably and responsibly sourced and 99% of chemicals used during production is recovered and reused. Tencel™ Lyocell fibres shows great strength, efficient moisture absorption and gentleness to skin.
